American Corner Port Harcourt is a United States Department of State-sponsored initiative inaugurated worldwide, American Corners Port Harcourt serves as a regional resource center for information and programs, highlighting American culture, history, current events, and government. American Corner Port Harcourt Provides a welcoming environment where users can connect and learn about the United States through programs and lectures, as well as through books, movies, and magazines.

PROGRAMS offered at the AMERICAN CORNER PORT HARCOURT

MOOC camp is a regular certificate-oriented and empowerment
program specifically targeted at youth.

This is a non-policy interactive program with U.S. diplomats This
program holds every last Thursday of the month 10 am -11 am.

This is a platform for sharing experiences of those who have
benefited from the U.S. Education Exchange programs, such as the Mandela Washington
Fellowship, Humphrey fellowship, etc. Every third Friday of the month 11 am -12 noon.

This is specifically created to empower unemployed youths in
Nigeria giving them ideas of what they could do. This is every last Monday of the month 10
am-11 am

This is a specially designed program to enlighten Nigerians
who are interested to study in any of the Universities in the U.S, this program takes place on
Wednesdays 11 am -1 pm.

These are programs set to mark special months weeks or days like
black history month, malaria Day, etc.

These are workshops, that are focused on skills building in several areas
and topics.
